People and Training
We are invested in our team’s training and development. All members of our stock crew undertake nationally recognised agriculture certificates (Cert II–IV), along with essential qualifications in first aid, machinery operation, and chemical handling. Each season, our crew attend horse and cattle handling schools, and represent us with distinction at the annual Livestock Handling Cup. For senior staff, we provide advanced training in grazing management, cattle breeding and nutrition, pregnancy testing, and business management. Through our strong links with leading industry bodies, we support leadership development and participation in national seminars.

Care for Our Environment
Our operations are located in the uniquely lush and naturally vibrant Kimberly region. We consider sustainable land use and responsible pastoral stewardship to be among our core organisational responsibilities. Our solar panel arrays provide a reliable and eco-friendly energy source for our stations, minimising our emissions. Similarly, our irrigation project is built on a foundation of sustainability, incorporating best-practice land management, efficient water use, and long-term soil health. It's a key step in our journey to future-proof our pastoral operations and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across our stations.
Stockmanship
At Pearl Coast Pastoral, the wellbeing of our cattle is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to providing a safe, calm, and sustainable environment where our animals can thrive. Low-stress handling is central to our operations. Wherever possible, we muster on horseback, a practice that encourages natural movement and reduces stress as the herd works through the yards. We are proud to produce cattle free from hormones, ensuring a healthier and more natural product. In addition, we are continuously improving the genetic profile of our herd.

Technology and Innovation
The early pastoralists who settled the Kimberley region understood that success on the rangeland demanded ingenuity and resourcefulness. That same pioneering drives us today. Our industry experience has taught us that sustainable pastoral operations require cutting-edge solutions, not just for efficiency but for responsible land stewardship. We're committed to staying at the forefront of innovation and using the latest tools to enable us to make better decisions and protect the ecosystems we work on.
